Initial Organizational Evaluation
Summit Companies has developed an Internet based Heat Map evaluation program to help the Chief Executive evaluate the performance of the organization. By answering a series of questions on-line the executive will receive a detailed evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of their organization.
Organizational Review
Together with your Summit Executive Manager you will review the Heat Map Evaluation results mentioned as well as other key metrics to discuss the overall health of the organization and what steps may be necessary to improve the organization through a revised Business Plan. Summit Business Advisors are available to help in most areas and may be consulted with if so desired.
Critical Continuity Data
We will work with your team to help assemble data necessary to implement the Continuity Program should it be necessary. All to often, critical data may reside only with key members of the team. By assembling this data in one location the organization will be able to continue even with the loss of, or incapacity of, an individual. This data will be maintained in a shared secure file only accessible to your Summit Executive Manager and those assigned access by the organization’s chief executive.
Summit Executive Manager
As with any key position in an organization the key elements for success of the individual depend on the skills, personality, maturity, and experience. You will be assigned a Summit Executive Manager that will combine all these elements needed to be able to step into the level required. For example, only our team members that have owned or run an organization would be considered for Chief Executive Officer or similar positions. Additionally, we will also have a second Summit Executive Manager assigned should the primary individual be unavailable at the time of immediate need.
Annual Review
Each year you will meet with your Summit Executive Manger to update the status of the organization and discuss changes made during the previous year as well as discuss plans for the next year. By having this annual meeting you will be assured that should the engagement of the Continuity Program be needed it will be done so effectively with current information.
Continuity Program Engagement
Should the need arise the Summit Executive Manager will be available to step into the critical position having the current information and ability to execute the functions necessary. If the owners or Board choose to hire an outside individual for the position we can work with this person to update them with information to help them perform the duties appropriately.
